BILGI NEW MUSIC FESTIVAL 15 – DISKANT ENSEMBLE

The contemporary music ensemble Diskant aims to contribute to the composition and interpretation of musical works, the production of audio and visual recordings, and to create a research and communication environment in this field. It seeks to include significant works of contemporary music in its repertoire and aims to introduce listeners, performers, and composers to the new techniques and aesthetic directions of contemporary music. Giving particular importance to collaborative work with composers during the composition process, Diskant has so far premiered the works of many composers and brought previously unperformed works of Turkish contemporary music to audiences.
